Q: Short Term Health Insurance
asked by: bellaer on September 10th, 2007

I am applying for a short term health insurance policy. One of the questions asks if I had consulted a health care professional for a heart disorder, including but not limited to chest pain. I had seen a health care practitioner for mild chest pain, but all of my tests had come back normal, and have not experienced the symptoms since the exam. My physician said I am normal, but I do not know how to answer this question.

It seems like all the short term policies have a question like this. Are there any other policies that I would qualify for? Thanks for your help.

I guess the Moratorium will not work for you. It's where your insurance policy covers everything except the ailments that have been detected in the last few years. I assume you want the policy to cover the heart disorder as well?

Just to be on the safe side, you should consult some health insurance consultancy like Datahealth Consultancy, for example. I have heard that they are quite reliable. One of my cousins approached them recently and the results have been quite satisfactory.

Bachelor, Datahealth Consultancy won't work for him. He lives in Pennsylvania. Datahealth covers the whole of the United Kingdom. I am not too sure, though.
