Q: Two Conditions: Tingling extremities, and purple skin

1. Persistent burning/tingling sensations in hands/feet

2. Noticably purple areas on skin, particularly those "closest to the blood" such as on the back of me feet/achilles tendon and at the area where I have scars.

I'm expecting the worst. Can anyone suggest something that this might be? Any way in which they could be related (I know of only one)?

Any input is GREATLY appreciated.
