I got an e-mail tonight from the family that bought my bird. I miss her lots and lots. She was a sweet girl. She's a c0ckatiel and she was hand fed....she's super friendly. I wish I had more time for her then....but she has a lovely family with other birds to play with.

and i just found that out today =(

Eww...that's a lot of money.

We took our Blazer in today to get our brakes done....and left with an estimate of almost $2,000 to "fix" everything that's wrong with it.

So I took the estimate and showed my dad and brother and they were outraged. So needless to say we'll be getting a second estimate. We only wanted our brakes done sheesh! But this place I guess is known for doing that sort of thing. Wish I knew that before wasting my time.

haha i asked my parents for $1000 tonight just so i could get moved in
but they told me they didn't have it...
but they just gave my brother $4500 for credit card bills

That stinks they couldn't have helped you...sounds like you really need it! Credit card bills can be avoided.

Yeah, I thought about having my brother take our blazer to the same place on a different day and see if we get a different estimate for other things being wrong with it.
But we thought the brakes had to be changed really bad. I guess they're alright for awhile, but we normally use that as our family car and take Adriana places in it...so we want it to be safe. So now it's not an "emergency" so we'll take it to someone we know personally when they have time.

I wish money grew on trees. You can bet your butt I'd have a nice orchard of 'em!!
