Honey, childbirth is something that your body is built to do. Don't forget that there are various options for pain relief. Your body will know what to do when the time comes. How far along are you btw? You're right about the c-section though. You can't have one of those unless it's medically necessary. From what I've read too, it's more painful to recover from that than a vaginal birth.

C-sections hurt way more than labor. If you're afraid of the pain of childbirth, ask for an epidural. You'll feel sore afterward, but nowhere near as sore as you'll feel if you've had your abdominal muscles cut open, pulled apart, and sewn back together.

Let your doctor know that you're having trouble with your prenatals. You might want to take Flintstone vitamins instead, plus a folic acid suppliment. Or you can drink Carnation Instant Breakfast plus a folic acid suppliment. Both are good sources of vitamins.

Good luck.

Why would you want to have a c-section if you can't handle pain? It's not exactly a party.

with an epideral my labor was painless..seriously. I had a little discomfort but i never ever felt pain. C Sections are much worse for the baby and for recovery for you. Go to some birthing classes and educate yourself, maybe it will take away some of the fear..and trust me by the time your 40 weeks pregnant you dont care how much it hurts you will want that baby out so bad.

Try taking your prenatals at night or with a small meal. Taking them on an empty stomach gives a lot of people nausea. I used to eat my breakfast around 7 and I'd take my prenatals around 10 or 11.

Your doc won't give you a c-section unless it's necessary or if you have already had one. Don't be afraid to ask for an epidural and don't let anyone tell you your a wimp or anything else because you want meds. I envy the women that can do the whole thing naturally, but I personally couldn't have done it and that is nothing to be ashamed of.

You'll be fine and good luck to you

Because i'm so little i will most likely have to have a c-section.

To me that really sucks and i realise that she has my best interest at heart as well as Gracies.

Recovery time is so much longer plus i just want to experience it all by having a vaginal birth.

Good luck!!
