Q: Itching Lump On Labia

For the past few weeks I have a small lump on my labia majora, right side only. It is about the siize and shape of a mosqito bite, and is not red or discolored, it is the same color as my skin. It itches pretty bad sometimes, but does not hurt or anything else. Any idea what this is from? I do shave so maybe from that?

Yeah, it sounds like either a mosquito bite lol, or an ingrown hair.

My first guess would be an ingrown hair for sure! We all get 'em!
Most tend to go away on their own...but if it's irritated or becomes painful, consult a doctor. Ingrown hairs can become infected and turn into very painful cysts over time. If this happens, a doctor may have to remove the hair for you.

Hope this helps. Smile
