I'm finishing up my first pack of Femcon Fe and for the last two weeks or so I've been getting a brown discharge. At the beginning of my placebo pills, I got cramps for a few hours and got a little bit heavier of this brown discharge. I'm guessing it's aged blood?

Is this normal?

Well, should I be at all worried that I didn't get like red period blood or whatever?

My boyfriend and I are slightly worried about the fact that I didn't get a normal period

This is supposed to clear up after a few months as my body adjusts, right?

PS 1 YEAR AND 5 MONTHS today

Discharge can occur no matter how long you have been on a pill.

I don't believe that discharge is a sign of pregnancy, so I don't know what else you'd be afraid of.

If the whole placebo week is gone and you never got a period, then I suppose you could buy a pregnancy test. That's really all you can do.

Considering it's your first pack I wouldn't be surprised at any discharge or weird period business.

It will clear up and your body will adjust so that you have your period on the placebo week like you are supposed to.

If you are concerned, you can always take a test, they are cheap.
