I Hope Not :(

i hope im not getting my eating disorder back. i was anorexic for years before i had william and i thought i was doing well. i lost all my weight almost completely as everyone on here realised. but that was actually down to not eating. in a day i snack out on crisps all day because i have no time and i just dont feel like eating. i sometimes have dinner if we eat out but thats it. i dont tend to put weight on much anyway. my bmi is 17.37, i know underweight. i dont purposely not eat, i dont know whats wrong with me. i just look at food and feel sick most of the time. ive got my energy, which i need 2 look after william anyway, please some comments would be helpful x

that really sucks, i hope not for your sake, i was anorexic and bulimic for 5 years before i got pregnant with joseph, i managed not to go back to that after having him but never quite lost the weight. Now i had jordynne 9 mths ago and im still fat , sometimes i want the eating disorder back just to be skinny again. I feel soo gross being fat, i hate it, back when i had an eating disorder i was never even fat, my heighest weight was 118. Idkill to be 118 right now lol.
I was in therapy for a year for the eating disorder as well, but then i stopped going because my therapist opened her own practice and it didnt accept my insurance and then i went and moved in with my sister while her husband was away.

Ive heard that pregnancy can change your metabolism. so maybe your metabolism is really fast now or something, im not sure. If your physically not hungry and losing weight id see a dr to rule out any medical issues. It does seem to be hard to eat chasing around kids and feedin them , cleaning house etc. before you know it the days almost over and your like wow i need to eat lol.

yeah i know the feeling, you're constantly on the go. i guess now ive got william ive got to make sure i eat and not skip meals, even though i may not feel hungry. theres no chance of going to the doctors as i havent any time. was supposed 2 go to the clinic to weigh william as i havent done that in months, but i just dont have the time. williams at my mums now anyway as i have work all day Sad just washing my uniform now

hi,
you don't really sound like you're getting your eating disorder back. i know when i'm running around all day, i run on this constant stream of energy and i don't have an appetite. you just don't think about eating, and the more things you're doing the less you want to eat.
i, also, would suggest trying to make time to visit a doctor to ask if there are any other reasons you might not be hungry. while you are probably fine, there could be a medical reason.
in the mean time, try and drink calories. there are plenty of drinks out there that are made to be balanced meals, with protein and all that great stuff. some of them even taste pretty good! sometimes it's easier to drink something than actually prepare and eat a meal.
