Preg symptoms but period not due til end of month
Posted: 09-07-07 17:25pm

I'm 22 years old and have a 3 year old daughter. I'm having some symptoms and I don't really know what they mean. I started my period like 2 weeks early and it is not a full blown period. It is only spotting. I'm having cramps, my breasts are tender, I have heartburn, I'm feeling like I'm going to be sick almost all the time. My question really is, am I pregnant or am I just imagining things. I got told to wait and see if my normal period starts but that isn't until the end of this month. So I was just wondering if any one would be able to help me. Thanks!

Usually women ovulate 2 week before their period. It takes awhile for the egg to implant in the uterus and then it takes around 10 days for testing to be positive. If that is the case, you could not be showing any symptoms of pregnancy yet. A lot of women don't have any symptoms until their first missed period.

Sometimes our hormones get thrown off for various reasons and that could be what you are experiencing. I know you don't want to hear this, since it has already been suggested to you, but you need to wait until your period is due before you test for pregnancy. This could be PMS.
