Frenulum Breve / Hydrocortisone 1% Cream Posted: 09-07-07 15:13pm
Hi,
I have been reading up on Phimosis and
Frenulum Breve for some time (my foreskin
is still a little tight but I have
basically stretched it out). I finally got
the courage to go to the doctor on Monday
and was prescribed a steroid cream (as I
requested) called "Hydrocortisone 1% m/m
Cream."
The prescription says: "Thin application
to foreskin 3 times wekly for 3 months.
Spread thinly on the affected area."
I neglected to ask if I should be washing
any excess off or not.
Anybody have any advice?

Just wash any residue off of your hands
and you should be fine.

If you're applying medication to your
penis, though, I would suggest using a
condom because no girl wants steroids in
her va jay jay.
But no, no need to rinse. Rub it in (lots
if you wish ) and wash it off
your hands.

Sadly, I am VERY single so that won't be a
problem
Isn't it likely to disperse on to the
glans and thin that skin too (I don't want
that to happen)?

Not really, just be careful about
application. It shouldn't spread around as
long as you aren't using too much.
