hi so as alot of ya know i have stopped taking my birth control. I was taking Junel Fe 1/20. I had been on it only about.. 4 months i think. Anyways. I have been off it for 3 weeks and i have been nauseated every single day for the past 2 weeks. I get nauseated at diffrent times every day sometimes in morning, sometimes at night. But it has been every single day. I have also been extremely bloated, and tierd. I know going off bc can have side effects so i looked online to see if anyone else who took junel fe experinced nausea for that long or at all and i can not find anything about it. i have taken home preggo tests but all have been negative. so im confused. i am thinking off going in and getting a blood test done just to make sure everything is ok, because the nausea is really getting to me and the bloating to. Last night i was so nauseated i couldnt ride in the car i felt like i was going to be sick any second. Junel Fe 1/20 is a very low dose birth control so i didnt expect to have side effects for so long, except maybe delayed periods or what not. but its the nausea and bloating that i just dont feel right about. What do ya all think i should do. I don't want to go get a blood test and have the doctors think im just paranoid, but i really just feel like i shouldnt still be feeling so sick this long....

Were you experiencing this when you were on the pill?

It does seem like a long time to have side effects after you stop. I mean, it could be from the pill. But testing never hurts. You could ask the doc (or nurse) when you make the appt and see what they think.

Sure you could be pregnant. If you've been having sex since you stopped. I mean, it's possible that it's either.

It's physically possible to get pregnant just a few days after you stop!! Not common, but possible. I would test! Good luck.

I'm taking my last pill of Junel Fe 1/20 today cause i'm switching...not because i didn't like i though, just going to a different place and they don't carry it. But anyways...when i started it, about half hour after i would take my pill i would get really sick to my stomach! So maybe thats what your getting now that your off. It obviously reacts to every person differently. But i just thought i would share that with you. Even though it is such a low dosage it got to me! Sad
