Perhaps she may have forgotten she had taken her meds and then took them again. Most likely if she has built a tolerance to these meds, and added each one slowly and with the consent and knowledge of her dr. she should have been all right. Methadone, esp. has a very long half life, which makes it so that you can actually get by by taking it once a day, and it sustains for 24 hour or more. The only way to know if they were toxic, is to see when she started each, to know if the dr knew about the others, but mainly to look up each med and see what the therapeutic level in the bloodstream is and compare it to the one you have. Methadone is usualy prescribed in multiples of 10 mg, Phenergan for nausea, is usually taken prn, or if needed with other meds to decrease the side effect of nausea which could be from the methadone.
