Does anyone take Loestrin 24? And if you do what do you think of the pill?
Any side effects? Weight gain? Abdominal cramps? I need to switch to a new pill. Please give me some feedback. I would greatly appreciate it!

I take Junel (generic loestrin) and the only problem I've had is some mid-cycle spotting and nausea. But it's cheap so I'm not switching! Everyone's different though, you'll just have to wait and see.

I had just switched off Junel Fe 1/20 (generic for loestrin), not because i didn't like it or that it wasn't getting the job done, just plain old because i switched dr's and they didn't carry it at the new place. But the first 2 months a had two periods a month...which sucked! I got the first one about a week and a half into the packet and then again on the 'off' pills. Other than that i had some vicious cramps! And sometimes even when it wasn't near the fourth week. But my third month i got my period on the fourth sunday morning (so i hadn't takin' my first 'off' pill, i take it at 11pm). So it was a little earlier than i expected but i didn't have two periods that month. But now i am going to be starting this new kind tomorrow....its just another generic kind of loestrin! Good luck!
