I have been suffering with extreme pain since the beginning of 2003. I have had several episodes of pancreatitus and been hospitalized to many times to count. they have diagnosed with me pancreatitus, done surgery for papillary stenosis and are now wanting to take out my gallbladder due to my still experiencing pain and I had a HIDA scan which came back with an 18% ejection rate of the gallbladder. Can anyone tell me if all this is related somehow? And if this surgery will help me or just something else to try till they figure out what is going on.
