Q: Sleep Paralysis - a Different Take

I have read all the articles that it isn't "ghostly" or "alienlike" but I swear, every experience I have had in the past 6 years has been ghostly. I have felt as if I was being tortured, raped, and even possessed. I am really starting to get scared. I hear voices, conversations, etc. It is more than just the flourescent lights and paralysis. I can compare it to gothika. Its a whole different experience. I was wondering if anyone else had this experience ... Or knows where I can go to get help. I'm a college student, so i'm pretty poor, but would there be any places that would want to do on a study on me?? If this isn't sleep paralysis (which I honestly feel it isn't) then it has to be ghostly ... Or else I am seriously going schizo.

Yesterday I heard a conversation, was being talked to [even warned about something], and felt my body shake to the point where I felt something come out of me.

Can you please comment if you have heard anything like this??

Hi jenalyn!

Don't get scared Smile its natural.

I could tell you about htis , but please, go check out robert bruce's web-site, and if you find the information and the forum there helpful, buy his book, you will gain such an understanding of this stuff its incredible.

again, you have to read roberts work on astral projection, and the study of this stuff - its breakthrough - I do not want to say more, because I don't want to sound like a nut on this board Smile

check out out,

as for the sensation of something coming out of you, did these feel like high intensity vibrations? This is also a natural sensation of trance, when your mind is still awake but you're in trance,

k, again - check out his work.

Thank you for ur reply ... But on the website, I didn't know where to look. Can u please provide me with a specific link?? Thank you...

... Also the sensations were not really high energy. It was more like my whole body was shaking because something needed to be lifted out. I felt something release from me ... Thats why I thought I was possessed. I even heard a voice that warned me about something ...

Hey there!

I might have a form of narcolepsy called cataplexy and that means that I go into rem sleep for no reason even if I am awake. I am paralyzed and cannot move but only breathe and slowly at that. I have hallucinations and hear the craziest things too. Its more distressing than dangerous. Try sleeping on your side as that can lessen it. Dont worry you are not possessed or anything. Hope you come back to read this i'd like to tell you more

Yes i'm here to read whatever comments you have ...

The thing is, I don't really sleep on my back. The last time it happened, I was sleeping on my side. And it still didn't help. The only thing that stopped it was laying on my stomach ... And it only helped because I can't sleep when i'm on my stomach Confused

My mom is always telling me to pray more but I don't really believe in that. I have been having these problems ever since I was young and it has never gotten better. It is always something bad ... Like I feel like i'm getting abused or something ...
