I was on nuvaring but I was changing it to the pill...somehow during all this, I left my ring in an extra week...and then took it out. I didn't start my pills right then....and of course after a few days, I had bad cramps and started my period but its been really strange...like BRIGHT RED BLOOD and i have NEVER had that happen!! it hasn't been as heavy as it is normally...

Anyway, I was just wondering if maybe i jacked it up by leaving the ring in an extra week. I started my pills within 24hrs of my period... Anyone else had a strange period? I was a little concerned!

thanks

Especially eHealthy
You're right- the whacked period is due to leaving the ring in for four weeks and then switching.

It won't hurt you or anything, just be inconvenient. It should regulate soon.
