Well i was reading about missionary and doggy being the best but i wanted someone elses input on it. I also know that you have to get the sperm to go up and placing the pillow underneath helps.

That may or may not be true. i also read that you should avoid positions that require the woman on top and standing because the sperm will drip out. so any position does not always work

actually those are all old wives tales..
there is no specific position that is more likely to get you pregnant..

any way you have sex there will be sperm in your vaginal that can live
for up to a day(i think)...

but putting a pillow under your hips right after sex lets more sperm stay in.

the sperm travels to the egg
it doesnt matter what position you are in
infact around my conception date i was on top three times while haveing sex... (marked it on the calander lol i do everytime) so its very well possible that i concieved while i was on top

as long as the sperm stays in you are good! just don't get up right away and that is what the pillow is good for, so it all doesn't leak out.

I believe that they say that some positions are better because they are when the woman is more relaxed. You can get pregnant by any position, but some might be a little more helpful if you are having trouble conceiving. If you are really fertile then it shouldn't matter what position you are it.

really? can you post the links if possible? everytime i look it up it says its possible in any position no matter what and i havent seen anything saying that you cant get preg while the girl is on top?

the whole way you get preg is when the sperm swims up to the egg and fertalizes it. it can swim up there either way your doing it

I never said that you could not . My question was to find out WHAT THE BEST POSITIONS WERE. Not to say that it cant happen, sure it can im 26 im not dumb i know that it can happen. You can stick it in and pull it out and get pregnant depending on how fertile both people are and wether or not you can concieve. i have read alot on pregnancy but when i found out i waspregnant i was just wondering what position i was in and was it the best way. Thats all, but your making it out to seem like im dumb and dont know anything. I have been around 10 more years then you not to say you have not done your share of readig either but take into consideration i am wiser then you and also no need to get smart

Suzi, she didn't say that you couldn't get pregnant by you on top, just that it is less likely, and more likely that you could get pregnant from misisonary position.

In the end, there is no ideal position as no conclusive evidence has been found. There are several tricks and techniques that some people believe to work, but that doesn't mean that they work for everyone. On the other hand not everyone will get pregnant by other positions.
