truth of the matter is this.

we can not legislate and force morality upon people, however we can enforce and legislate morality to protect people, this is why it is legal to have an abortion to protect the mother, why it is ilegal to murrder to protect, not to oppress however pro life people want abortion to be ilegal to protect the unborn child. The problem is the unborn child is not recognised by law as a human being where the mother is. Now then who and how should we define who and what is or is not a human being?

Should the Government?

I dont trust the government, they would wip away our rights as soon as they could.

Good ole fashioned "Religion" or "philosophy"

well, this might just suprise one or two, but no I wouldnt have philosophy or religion because faith is a personal issue and we all have different beliefs about different things

so who?

well, it would seem to me the only logical answer would be a one grounded in biological fact where neither philosophy, religion nor governments can deny.

It should not be a matter of opinion about personhood, we should be focused on the facts.

I would reply, but since you already know what I think and feel even on a subconscious level, I won't. Confused

I didn't expect you to say that, guest. I am pleasantly surprised. So how do you shape your opinion based on biological fact? How do you apply that to this situation?

Georgia, don't be pleasantly surprised, because what he will spring on you for an answer will be his opinion on what a human being is, not fact. Although he will think it is fact.

*sigh*
Guest.. are Fetii immortal? no? then 'from the moment of conception' they are doomed to die; when is the only question. you can't 'save' anything unless you have perfected an immortality elixir..

Legislation did not prevent abortion in the past; it won't now.. you aren't 'protecting' anything. you are attempting to control the women and use their wombs as the harness leads..

Well that's why I was wondering how he would thus explain his position. Because 'biological fact' doesn't really seem to support his position.... at least to me.
