I just wanted to get some different idea's (and maybe tips) from you wonderful ladies about what you are doing different this cycle. Or, for you preggo ladies, what you did different on your successful cycle.

I'm currently on cd 10. I took soy from cd 2 thru cd 6. I would love to hear from anyone else that has tried soy!

I have also started with the whole green tea thing. I have to say that I already see a great improvement!

Let see, I also ordered my first bag of Fertilitea. I tastes pretty good, but I'm not sure it's doing anything.

Any comments or tips welcome! I hope this is everyone's BFP cycle!!!

I am not really doing anything too different, just opks, preseed, clomid and bding like a crazy person! Also, I completely cut out all caffeine, and sugar from my diet. Hopefully it helps, because I would kill for a piece of chocolate right now!

Good luck to all of us!!!

I don't really do anything the month I conceived. I didn't even know I was ovulating. We had sex once and that was it. So, even though I know it's hard I guess the best thing for me was to calm down. I know that's really hard to do though. How did you finally get your cycle jump started MC?

Christy,

What is the soy supposed to do? I have never heard of that before. Have you been charting? If so, lets see your chart. Im glad you are somewhat back to normal with your cycles. Lets hope this is your month.

So I was going to try the green tea and pineapple juice becuase I remembered Volermos talking about it when she got pregnant. I forgot to get pineapple juice at the store on Saturday, and I have been drinking coffee instead of green tea lately so that idea went out the window. I need to start drinking the Green Tea again, but I am now hooked on my French Vanilla roasted fresh ground coffee and Vanilla Carmel Creamer. Its like going to Starbucks in my kitchen.

I did start to take some mucinex, but after researching it online, I think I got the wrong stuff. I think you are supposed to get the kind with only the guiafenesin in it and nothing else in it. Mine has something else so I need to go get just the regular stuff.

The Mucinex is supposed to give you increased CM. It is supposed to be like the Robitussin only you take it less often.

I have been taking Evening Primrose Oil for a very long time, and I really don't notice any difference in CM at all, so that is why I am trying something different.

I'm taking B6 this month in addition to my pre-natal. I don't know yet if it helped us conceive (tomorrow is af), but I can tell you that my temps right now are very stable. Normally, they get very erratic this time of the month. I only wish they were high and stable.

I'm exercising less this month as well, but that is not intentional.

I've tried to cut down on my caffeine over the months and have done pretty well, but I can't stop completely. And way to go on the sugar, I could never do that!

Stef ~ How did I get my cycle started? Um...will...determination...stubbornness.. .luck...the sheer grace of god? I'm not sure. Honestly, I'm not sure they have even started back up or if I got the positive opk last month because my body was just trying to 'o'. (even though I did start af 14 days later Wink ) But, I hope the soy will help this month.

Heather ~ I could try to explain how soy works but I'm pretty sure I would just screw it up. But there is a GREAT newsletter/bulletin on twoweekwait.com that you should read. I think it is for the month of Jan 06. If you have trouble finding it I'll pm it to you. I think I'll be o'ing tomorrow (ish). I checked my cp earlier, and it was so high, I couldn't touch it. I'll post a link to my chart, if it doesn't work, let me know.

Short ~ When are you testing?????

I hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Christy - Unfortunately, I didn't get to test. Af came overnight. Sad I made sure that my dh knows that our deal was that I will now schedule our RE appt for the week after my next af is due and that I will be calling my PCP and OB/GYN to set up an HSG. He agreed, but I still wonder whether he is going to freak out again when the appt approaches.

BTW, giving up caffeine is easy on most days, but there are times when I crave it. I really want a Diet Coke right now. I think it is because I slept-in for 1 1/2 hours after I took my temp. I'm probably a bit groggy and, of course, dissappointed that af showed up.

Alcohol is the one I haven't completely given up. I did for a few months, but it is just seemed so pointless because we are having such a hard time getting pregnant. If we are out to dinner with bottle of wine, I'll have a glass.

I'm glad your cycle seems normal. That is a great sign that your c is too far to reach. Happy bd'ing!

Mrs LTD - wow, I'm impressed that you gave up sugar. I don't think I could do that. I'm not diabetic but I try to control my blood glucose level by practicing a diabetic technique. I avoid foods and drinks high in simple sugar when I have an empty stomach and when I do eat/drink them, I mix them with proteins to slow absorption. I also completely avoid fruit juices. I had my glucose tested recently and it came back normal so I hope I'm doing enough there.

I'm sorry af came. Crying or Very sad But I'm glad dh is on board with going to the RE. I had my dh talked into it last week. Then (for some stupid reason) I mentioned that they would do a SA...and that was the end of that. I think hes secretly afraid that he is the problem. So he wants to give it a little while longer to 'work itself out'. How long is the wait for an appt there? Around here they are about 6-8 weeks out. I hope you don't have to wait that long.

* I just wanted to add that something I did this month is great! My skin has never looked as good as it does right now! Just thought I would mention that.

It has been so hard giving up sugar. Whenever I get the urge, I eat sugar free jello. It has been my lifesaver! With the pcos, I knew it was the only way to get my body ready to get pregnant. RIght now I am 7 days into the tww. I have no symptoms to speak of, but I have lost 13 pounds!

13 pounds, Way to go! That is great! You're about 9 dpo now, how are you feeling?

On a side note, I still haven't o'ed. I'm starting to get very upset about it.

Thanks Mc!
Yes, I am 9dpo. I really don't have any symptoms at all, but I did get a faint bfp on an Answer test last night. I am being cautiously optimistic, because of the chemical I had in June. Just waiting to see the line get darker. I will keep you all posted. Wish me luck!
