The cheesy birthday background. I hated this background because it reminded me of mid-80's dorky photography, but her nana (my dad's wife) insisted. (The fluffy hat says "baby's 1st birthday" which Alyvia refused to wear, so nana insisted on that being in the shot too.)

Karin: she's had them since she could smile. I gave her the dimples and the earlobes, and her daddy gave her everything else.
Marih: Her hair is actually about an inch long, but it's so fine that it just lays flat, and it's so blonde that it's hard to see until you get up close. It's pretty frustrating for me, because I want so badly to put her hair into little pigtails!
