I am going to the OBGYN next week and I
would really like to start taking birth
control. I am sexualy active. Here is this
problem. I am on 2 anti depressants. I
have heard that a lot of BC and anti
depressants dont mix well together. Does
anyone take anti depressants and birth
control? What do you take, side effects?
Of course I am also worried about the
typical nausea, weight gain, etc.

I haven't actually heard of any adverse
effects of mixing bc and anti
depressants... O.o

I haven't either, actually.
The only thing is that some birth control
can cause depression, so you'll want to
monitor how you feel and switch pills if
you feel that the b/c is contributing to
your condition.
