Q: Ttc, Negative Tests, Period 1 Week Late

My husband and I have been ttc for 3 months. We have been using ovulation test kits and last month I did not ovulate. My period is 1 week late and I am not feeling any symptoms of it coming on. I have taken many pregnancy tests and all are showing negative. 2 weeks ago I had a brownish discharge, but it was only a day. Is it possible to not see a positive and see be pregnant (I have tried testing at all different times of the day). Please advise. Thank you. BTW, Dr. appt. scheduled for next week but I am anxious to see what others think.

I think you need to see the doctor.

The best time to test for pregnancy is in the morning with your first morning urine. All the test directions will recommend this. Your hcg level is more concentrated at this time of day since you haven't used the bathroom for potentially the longest period of time (overnight).

Thanks for replying so quickly. I have tested in the morning several times but tried other times of the day just in case. I do have an appt. for next week.

I think your period may be late because you didn't ovulate. The doctor will do a blood test to be sure though.
