I just got a cute grey chinchilla from my boyfriend and can not think of anything to name him.

Any suggestions?

I think Chocolate chip cookie when I here that Wink Yummy.

He has a bit of an attitude when it comes to his cage. He grunts at you if you get to close but once you are in and picking him up he is fine. He is just such a cutie, especially when he is playing in his bath dust

Sometimes they do but he is territorial so i don't think it would work unless I got him a breeding female. No little baby chins for me, thanks! Wink

Im stumped on a name. I want something cute that relates to where he is from (Andes Mts in south america)

Pierre is cute though. It relates to his little mustache of wiskers.

Of course right after I name him we might be getting a new one. My boyfriend wants me to have a nicer one and was dissapointed that this one was so territorial once we got him home and settled. We think the woman we got him from is a breeder and just wanted to make money. We are picking up a white one tonight and giving this one to a friend who is more experienced with them so he can be tamed a bit.

This is what a grey one looks like.

I have always liked differnt names.............I like : Mignon, Houdinni (our little escape artist), Rico Suave and Twquila! I've had so many little animals! The neighbors freak out when I call them outside! Very Happy

I know the feeling. We have a ferret, two cats, 6 snakes (soon to be 5), one goliath bird eating spider and a chinchilla. And it doesn't even look overcrowded. We are nuts but I know everyone gets more than enough attention and love so I don't care what others think.
