Son Ate Moldy Bread...help!!
Posted: 09-05-07 07:38am

My 6 year old got out a loaf of bread that was at the bottom of the bread basket and apparently had a lot of mold on it. Is he going to get sick?? I'm about to send him to school, but I'm afraid he is going to get sick.

Thanks

Well he just got a bunch of antibiotics the natural way. Smile
(Penicilin is made from mold).

He might get an upset stomach, but most likely, nothing bad will happen to him. Is he allergic to penicilin?

"Is he allergic to penicilin?"

Not that I know of....I'm not sure that he's ever had it before. I guess he'll be fine unless I get a call from the school nurse

hope he's ok. Smile

when my little brother was your sons age, he ate an entire bottle of chewable vitamin C's thinking they were candy. we discovered this 4 hours later when he turned red, got really hyper, and started itching. in the end he was fine, but it was pretty funny nevertheless.

good luck.
