I look up to my older brother ALOT I dont no why I just do and I always have. He's been like my father because my real father isnt really in my life. Well my older brother was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder. Sometimes he's so nice and I love being around him and stuff and JUST LIKE THAT he changes hes mean and he scares me! I don't know how to deal with the fact that my "role model" my "Father" is bipolar and scares me. Any advice?

Read everything you can on the disorder and try to get him in to see a Doctor so he gets on medicated.

Read the book The Biopolar Survivor Guide, what you and your family should know.

Excellent book that explains the symptoms of Bipolar Disorder.

Good luck!
