Q: Pain a Year After Chin Implant Surgery

The chin implant surgery was done 16 months ago. When I returned twice afterwards to discuss the numbness on my left side of the implant the doctor said it would eventually get better. The numbness after over a year has finally mostly subsided but has been replaced by constant pain and a burning sensation. I read somewhere else that he probably cut a nerve. I refuse to go back to him to have anything else done. I've been considering a lower facelift or even botox or juvederm injections but I'm afraid it would further add to my pain. Has anyone else experienced this or know what it is?

chin implant
I have been in chronic pain and have burnig, numbness and muscle contractions even though I had the implant removed a year later. It is now 4 years since the first surgery and the symptom continue worse than ever. I don't know how I can continue to live like this. I truely regret ever having it done. I feel like a freak, I can't find any treatment or relief. I am so depressed over this and it has ruined my relationship and my life. Does anyone know of any treatment?
