My right knee hyper-extends very easily. and gets very stiff after a workout or playing sports. I am not in extreme pain but feel like there is pressure on my knee at all times. I have had several series of X-Rays taken and two MRI's done but the doctors cannot find anything wrong. Should I consult an orthoscopic surgeon to discuss getting the knee scoped???

Dear me, no, I would not recommend seeking surgery if you have no need of it. I mean, maybe you want to see a specialist just to understand the anatomy of what's going on ... hyperextension is more of a muscular thing than anything, from what I know. It might help also to consult a physical therapist. Those I've known are wonderfully adept at SEEING the body and recommending exercises to bring it back into alignment. Or a Pilates / yoga instructor could help you, as well.

Have you considered strengthening the front and side muscles of the leg and shin that support the knee?
