Q: Bloody Nose! Help!

Im fifteen years old. And in the last few days i've had on average about 3 nosebleeds a day.

This has never happened before....

Its the time of year where my allergies are at its worst, so whenever i go blow my nose, it bleeds. If i rub my nose too much, it bleeds.

Its always in the same nostril

And its been doing this for a while, but not so bad, maybe one to two nose bleeds a week starting in late july.

Does anyone know what this could be from?

BTW- Im going to see a doctor soon, what do they do when they coterize the nose?

Especially eHealthy
could be allergies causeing the nose bleeds Sad when it does bleed hold your head back and pinch the bridge of your nose
not too hard but put some pressure on it
it may help stop or slow the bleeding

good luck
hope all goes well

Hey
i dont want to contradict but you dont want to put your head back. that way the blood goes down your throat. you tilt your head forward. you learn that when you become certified in first aid. I just wanted to clear that up. do pinch your nose.
