I have beentaking this birth control pill for 3 months and ever since I started taking it I have not had a period. I have taken pregancy tests to make sure I am not pregnant and they have come back negative. Is this common with Lutera and is it safe to not keep having periods. Confused

You should consult your doctor, to make sure this is normal or to let you that it is not normal. Who ever presribed the medication should have told you about the side affects. I know some birth controld can make you have phewer periods but I would look it up. Hope this helped.

Not having periods on birth control is perfectly safe, once it is determined that it is a normal effect for you. I'd go talk to your gyno.

It is not common for the pill to cause bleeding like that, and it's especially something to be concerned about because this is a sudden change. I'd talk to your gynecologist about this. Maybe you need to stop taking birth control for a while.
