Could Be Vocal Cord Dysfuction
Hello,
I have had asthma for all my life and i have been diagnosed with VCD.
VCD feels like ping pong ball is in your air way and your struggling to breath.
Asthma feels like your chest is being stepped on and you suffocating.
If it is TRULY ASTHMA, YOUR O'2'S STATS WILL BE LOWER THAN NORMAL,
NORMAL BEING 96% TO 100%
iF YOU ARE HAVING AN ATTACK OF VCD, YOUR O2 STATS ARE NORMAL AND USUALLY IN HALING OXYGEN @ THE ER will STOP the attack of VCD. It takes time to learn the difference. You could be allergic to something close to your home or where ever you have the worst attacks.
Doctors can treat you as an asthmatic, but if it doesn't stop the breathing problems, it is not asthma! Don't take steriods un-less given by a SPECIALIST, not just a family doctor.. Trust me, taking steriods while not under the care of a specialist can wreck your body for the rest of your life.
Bee smart! Seek out appropriate specialist and keep a medical diary of everything that happens to you, what you eat, do physically, work and all medications. You need to be proactive with your health . All the best ww
