it's layla's first day at nursery today Shocked i take her in 2 hours. i have to stay with her the next few days until she's ok with it. she goes from 1-4pm. i told her she's going to school like courtney and she is v.excited Very Happy

i will update everyone later on how it goes but wish me luck cause i am nervous Confused she is not fully potty trained and they expect her to be so i am just bringing to spare changes of clothes and knickers.

my little girl is so grown up Smile

everything is going fine so far. they told me to go home after being there for only 10 minutes cause she was absolutely fine. about half an hour ago i got a call saying she'd pooed her knickers and didn't want them to change her so i had to come back and change her then i've come home again.

hopefully all goes well until 4pm (1 hours time)

Hi
Hi Beck, hopefully Layla will enjoy school so much she will comprehend when you tell her, you are NOT ALLOWED to poop while at school. Only big girls can go to school. This is what seemed to work on my own. She only had an accident one other time!!!!!! Must feel really odd to have both girls in school now! Mine turned 24 yesterday..................I miss it so much! Laughing

I wouldnt tell her not to poo when in school because holding it in when you have to do a number 2 isnt good for your body and can cause constipation. I would just make a point of saying before you leave the house "if you need to go wee or poo do it on the pre school toilet like courteney and the other big girls, then your clothes will stay nice and clean" And when you take her in there get her to show you where the toilets are to make sure she remembers herself Smile Its good she was fine without you after 10 mins.

Allow Me
Let me clarify myself....BIG GIRLS DO NOT POOP in their pants at school. I never meant to have this child hold her poop..............just to go to the toliet, loo or whatever its called. My daughter use to hold hers and I for one know thats an experience I would not wish on anyone........
