Nuva Ring

I recently stopped using the ortho evra patch because I was having a period about every 2 weeks. My nurse sugested I was not getting enough estrogen and I started the NuvaRing. I've only been on it for about a week. I was on the Depo shot after my daughter and changed to a pill because of ins change. I then became pregnant with my son while using the pill correctly. I went on the depo again after his birth. When he was about 3 I was having pregnancy symptoms (I had no troubles at all before this). My doctor had me switch at that time not wanting to put me on a pill. That is when I started on the patch. Now after stopping the patch had a period right away which only lasted 2 days and pretty light. Now with the ring I think I have a yeast infection which I'm not really sure if it is from the ring or if it may be early stages of pregnancy. Changing from a bc that has worked scares me since I've ended up with a preganancy even on the pill. Just wondering what any of you think. Thanks for the time!

The ring is just as effective (or more) than pills because it's easier to use and harder to mess up.

You don't necessarily get yeast infections from pregnancy, you could just have one. Also, when I used the ring, it caused quite a bit of irritation after about a year. If it doesn't go away, I would be worried about that and think about switching.

But don't worry, it's really effective!
