It's possible to bleed during early pregnancy. However, it's not a true "period".

A period is part of the reproductive cycle, including ovulation. Bleeding during pregnancy is just that - bleeding.

I wouldn't call it "normal" by any means, but it's not unheard of. But heavy bleeding in early pregnancy is a major warning sign of miscarriage.

If you think you could be pregnant, take a pregnancy test.

Ooooo. Ok. Thanks. I have another question my friend and me talk abt every thing and she thinks she's pregnant, so when she got her period she was telling me it was different she usually bleeds alot on her first day, but this time is was kind of light to her. Like not heavy. But then on the second day of her period she was bleeding like (sry for gettin gross) but it was blood clots. Um... she alos said that (I'm trin to remember) Oh yea she saud that this period feels different, even tho she have painful cramps as usual, her period is not heavy as normal... Um... so my question is...Is there a chance she can be pregnant?????

If she's experiencing a "period", she's probably not pregnant. It probably feels different because she thinks she's pregnant and is reading too much into it.

But if she thinks she's pregnant, she should take a pregnancy test. Even if she were having a miscarriage, she should still trigger a positive on the test. The pregnancy hormone takes a while to leave the system.

It doesn't sound like she's pregnant.
