So 10 years ago (or thereabouts) I suffered a traumatic brain injury (fell 3m onto a railway sleeper, fractured skull ear -> ear, damage to both hemispheres of brain..blah blah blah) all the docs said/say I only survived due to my age at the time (9yo)

Anyway Ive had headaches pretty much since, but in the last year or so they have gotten reeeaally bad. So I saw my gp, who ordered CT, which showed a mass, referred to hosp, saw neurosurgeon, ordered MRI...which showed a TONNE of scar tissue in my brain. Apparently a very concentrated amount in my frontal lobe area...

Anyway they said its not life threatening so I have an appointment with a neurologist in a couple months. The hting is..I still get headaches....but no one asked me WHERE it was hurting, or offered any explanation....

So I am wondering if the scarring/scar tissue could cause headaches? There is a LOT of it.

Any ideas?

Thanks....

YES!
Better late and never I say.......just found this post, otherwise I'd already have answered for you. YES....scar tissue built up over time can cause headaches. Curious as to what your Neuro Dr tells you!
