When I was pregnant with my first I got to talking with my midwife and she told me that your babies heart rate can normally be a good indicater of what sex it is.
Under 165 bpm = girl
over 165 bpm = boy
both my girls heart rates were high 150's, my friends son nicholas clocked in at 190 bpm, my other friends children were 157 bpm (hollie)
and her second baby was 170 (bailey- boy)
my friend melissa, preggo with twins, their heart rates are 156 and 187 at her last scan, and she decided to find out the sex, you guessed it, one of each...................
How accurate is this statement to u guys..... 4 those who have had their babies, and 4 those who are pregnant but know the sex?????

I dont think that they are that accurate. It really dont make sense to me how they could be just because of the sex. I always thought a low heart rate was a boy and a high one was a girl?? Im having a boy and he goes anywhere from 120-150. I dont remember with the other kids!

Doms heart beat at 6 weeks was 186bpm
12 weeks 173
16 weeks 178
20 weeks 189
24 weeks 165
28 weeks 140

n I forgot to write down after 28 weeks lol I found out at 19 weeks he was a boy.. So that statement was true for me

Yeah at 10 weeks josh's was way up in the 160's and the ultrasound lady told me about that.....But josh's heartbeat always goes up during an ultrasound.....I dont think he likes it! Lol.....And maybe while they r smaller their heartbeats are faster.....I dunno. But I know his heartbeat rises during a contraction and during an ultrasound......

Eh I dont think the statement is true really at all. . I know plenty of people whove had high heartrates and had boys and lower ones and had girls.. .But I guess statistically it is more common for boys to be lower and girls be higher and it worked for me..My baby so far has been anywhere from 136-147 around there and mines a boy, and my mom said with us girls it was always in at least the 150's and w/ my brother it was in the 140's.. But u never know, I wouldnt judge the sex by it for sure.

Heart rates are faster when they are smaller. The bigger they get and closer to birth the heartrate slows significantly.
