Q: I Fingered My GF - can open cut pass / receive infection ? hepat

hi, i just recently fingered my gf i had a small cut on the base of my fingernail from work about 6 hours before, by the time i fingered her it was not bleeding or anything, im wondering is there any possible chance of contracting anything from fingering her with this cut on my finger which was not bleeding at the time????

Yes, it is possible that the open wound on your finger can transmit or contact infection when in contact with your girlfriend's vagina. To have a cut on the skin (no matter if it is bleeding or not) means that the skin’s integrity is damaged. Intact skin protects us from almost all infective agents but damaged skin is an open door for many infections. A skin cut 5 hours old is exactly that kind of open door. Infections like Hepatitis B or C and HIV can be transmitted through such skin cuts.
