Q: Anybody Know Anything About Almonds?

I hear almonds are great sources of antioxidents, partly because they have a lot of vitamin E. I bought a thing of honey roasted almonds and looked at the contents and Vitamin E didn't show up. Does that mean that type of almonds doesn't have many antioxidents? If so, what kind does?

If you buy raw almonds you can guarentee there's gonna be lots of vitamin E in them and other anit-oxidants.. Through the process of being roasted maby the vitamins are depleated... cause I know that with alot of foods, when processed in any way the nutrition value goes down quite a bit.. .. If you're looking to get lots of anti-oxidants, I've made up an anti-oxidant salad... It has just about every type of anti-oxidant, it creates alkalinity in the body, and provides complete protein.. the same that is found in meat... If there's anything that's gonna slow the aging process, it would be this diet.. Actually, it reverses the aging process, because there are so many anti-oxidants... no joke.. give me a shout if you want the recipe..

Nutritious Nut!
From what I've read, almonds are one of the most nutritious nuts!! They are low in saturated fat and contain many other protective nutrients ... calcium, magnesium, Vit E, and other phytochemicals that protect against cardiovascular probs!
