Can anxiety cause sleep disturbances?
Right now, my Dr's are treating me for
anxiety. For the past 2 weeks, keep waking
up at about 4:30-5am. Can anxiety cause
this?

It could be do to anxiety and stress. Has
there been any big changes in your life?
Try relaxing before going to sleep, taking
a warm bath, or a walk outside.
It could be the anxiety medication. Most
anxiety medication have insomnia listed as
a common side effect. General side effects
are mostly present during the first 1-4
weeks while the body adapts to the drug.
If it continues and gets any worst, tell
your doctor about it.

thank you for replying back to me. Well,
for sometime I have been realllllllllllly
depressed. In late June, I started to have
tingly sensations, and other symptoms. I
have been seen by both my PCP & a
Neurologist. They both feel it's anxiety,
after ruling out other things. When I wake
up in the morning at that time, I am
usually feeling uneasy, and very anxious.
I even start crying sometimes. My mind is
always racing.
