Heart Disease and Heart Attack Forum - three heart attacks in the last month ! Prognosis Anyone?

My fil has had three heart attacks in the last month. He went into a cardiac arrest on the last one. The doctor says his heart is now operating at 20%. The dr says his prognosis is not good, but that they won't know more for a few days.

What is the outlook on this? I suspect he is terminal, but what is the realistic time frame? Would he be a candidate for a hert transplant?
