Q: What Could Be Causing This Cramping?

Ok I have been having period like cramps for the last week. According to my period tracking I should have been ovulating last weekend which could account for some of it, but it has continued all through this week. It doesn't seem to be letting up. My period isn't due for at least another week. Any ideas what this might be? Are there female issues that could be causing this that I should get checked out?

I would get it checked out. I have that same thing around ovulation (the week following) and I have ovarian cysts. That's probably the most likely culprit (depending on your age, I guess). If it's that, it's no biggie and you probably needn't worry. Or maybe it's actually nothing. Some women have mild cramps for a week or so before their period. I get them here and there a few days prior.
