I had my throid removed about five years
ago. In the past few years I have been
craving saltine crackers. I was visiting
with another lady that had her thyroid
removed and she is craving crackers as
well. Why would we be craving crackers?
I don't even want to eat food anymore,
just crackers!

probably something having to do with the
fact that salt in the US is iodized, and
iodine is one of the things that the
thyroid gland regulates. what kind of
hormone replacements are you taking?
