Tramp stamps are very 'In', aren't they?

It is a myth that you cannot get an epidural if you have one.

my tattoo artist said, The concern is that when the needle pierces your skin the ink can transfer into the spinal cord. But there is so little ink that its virtually harmless, and the doc can just pierce a part where there is no ink and just skin. My artist is very well known and according to him its more of a personal decision of the doc rather than a health hazard.

Call your local tattoo shops and ask...it wouldnt hurt to get their professional opinions

I understand coming on here to get a feel before going further, but don't just ask tatoo artists. Ask a real doctor. You can still go through any procedure that requires an epidural (it's not just labor), but you need to use alternate methods of pain relief.

A boss I used to have had an ink injected into her blood stream as part of a procedure and her doctor DID tell her she could never have an epidural again. She was 63 so the chances were pretty limited that she'd need one, but it still tells me it's worth asking.
