I'm eighteen and a senior or high school. My period was suppose to start around the twentieth but it hasn't yet. I keep cramping like I usually do when I'm about to start, but still no blood. I just had my wisdom teeth removed, and it's put me under a lot of stress. I keep craving all kinds of food, but people tell me they craved a lot of food they couldn't eat when they had their wisdoms removed, so I don't know. I'm scared to death that I'm pregnant. I've already made a deal with my boyfriend that we no longer have sex until we're either married or until a long long time from now when we're both out of high school. I've prayed to God about this like twenty times today. I've looked on the net for all kinds of suggestions and stuff, but it upsets me a lot when I see people just basically saying, "Well, you should have kept ya legs closed, promiscuous person." I feel bad enough as it is for it. I never want to have sex again. I only did it to make him happy. He doesn't know I hardly ever want to do it. I just do it to make him happy. And now he's saying if I DO turn up pregnant, that he won't let me abort. But I can't handle a pregnancy. What do ya'll think? I really need help on this one. Even if you only pray for me. I really need prayers.

its your choice what you do and if your preg and you dont think its in your best interest or the babies best interest to bring him into this world then you do what you have to do

stop stressing
it causes delyed or missed periods

take a test

your periods probably delayed due to stress, but take a pregnancy test. thats the only way to find out. also, you dont have to stop having sex, just use protection! good luck x

I'm very sorry you were pressured in to sex Sad I heard that from so many girls and it makes me very sad.

I will never tell you that you shouldn't have had sex! Sex is a wonderful thing. There are girls on here who may tell you than and they can eat hot coals and die for all I care.

If you want to abort, it's your RIGHT. No one can tell you otherwise. But the "Am I Pregnant" forum isn't the right place to discuss that Wink First we need to know if you're even pregnant.

Since your period is late, you need to go buy a pregnancy test and pee on it first thing in the morning. Stress and your age can cause a late period!!

Were you using any form of protection?

Well, sometimes we'll start out not using protection, but I always make him put some on when we really get into it. Very VERY rarely does he only "pull out". I've never let him ejaculate inside of me without protection, though. Not even when I was on the pill.

I know it can, I was just hoping--praying--to God this was one of those instances where it didn't. I'm going to take a test as soon as Mark gets them for me. Which should be sometime today or tomorrow. I'm having him get quite a few so I can get "second opinions" in a manner of speaking. Also, I know tests can always be inaccurate if it's been less than six weeks.

they can be inacurate no matter what1 if you get a positive then you are 100% pregnant
however negative tests can be wrong and if you dont gt your period in two weeks id go to the doctor for a blood test if the hpt is neg and you still dont get a period.

The last time I thought I was pregnant and I took them two home tests I went to the doctor and had a test it came out negative. I' still worried, though. I couldn't live with myself if I WERE pregnant.

No one can stop you from having an abortion, sweetie. He may not support you in your choice, but it is your choice. He can't force you to keep a pregnancy if you're not willing to do so.

But this is all premature. You should find out first if you're pregnant, and then go from there. If your period is late, a home pregnancy test should be accurate. Remember to read the directions completely before taking the test, and remember to read the results within the time limit. If you read the results after the time limit is up, there might be an evaporation line which could look like a false positive.

For best results, wait until first thing in the morning to take the test. Your urine will be concentrated from sitting in your bladder all night, and if you truly are pregnant, the pregnancy hormone hCG will be more likely to trigger a positive on the test.

Good luck, and please let us know how things turn out. We're here for you.

like ayamayaki said no one can stop you from haveing an abortion
its YOUR body and YOUR choice and if YOU are not ready to be a mother then you have the right to terminate your pregnancy
im sorry that mark has put you through this

abortions cost differently in different states and cities etc. so its hard to tell you exactly how much it would be
you can look up abortion clinics in your area though and they may be able to help you out!

There are chemical pregnancies which are not true pregnancies. Blighted ovums, cysts. A number of things can cause a positive test. That doesn't mean you are pregnant.

A number of people, especially young women asking for information here, seem totally incapable of reading the directions on a pregnancy test box and can read them wrong. A lot of women hoping to be pregnant think and evaporation line is a line - and since on these forums A LOT people say, "Well, a line is a line is a line!" Not always true.
