asked by: DoctorQuestion on August 29th, 2007
If I have a normal period every month but i have started having Hot Flashes can i still concieve? I have been trying for 7 months with no luck. Can i still concieve at 43 years old? I just started taking Clomid 100 mg. I bought the pills in Canada they sell them without a prescription. Is there anything natural I can take to help me concieve? Thank-You

Fertility Answer A3284
You'll probably be able to conceive as long as you are ovulating. Regular menstrual periods suggest that you may still experience ovulation. You can confirm this hypothesis by taking ovulation tests, measuring the basal temperature during your menstrual cycle, detecting progesterone in the second phase of the cycle and via an ultrasound examination. Hot flashes are symptoms of menopause. Clomid is taken only when a woman is not ovulating. You mustn’t take Clomid on your own without doctor’s prescription. There is nothing natural that can help you to conceive... but your partner should be also checked for fertility capacity (sperm analyses).
