I have been with my wife now for 3 years and we have been having unprotected sex for 2 of the years. We have been trying to have a baby the last 10 months with no success. I know I have a mild case of Glanular Hypospadies so I am wondering if this could be the cause of my infertility? I am getting more depressed by the month and I am starting to think I am wasting my time trying to get my wife pregnant because of my condition but I didn't think this degree of the condition would affect my sperm. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Jason

Hi there Jason, thank you for posting your question. My area of expertise is in human sexual dysfunction. I hope I can be of some small help to you.

Try and cheer up. You are making two assumptions here. One that glandular hypospadias affects sperm count which is not the case and two that your sperm count is in some way compromised which you do not know.

Have a semen analysis done Jason. You will probably find that it is normal. Ten months is not a very long to be trying for a baby. You will be fine. Good luck.
