Hi, I'm 15 years old and I'm now almost certain I have Candida. It all started when I was 12 and I think possibly even younger than that. But around 12 I started getting really bad acne and I would always say I would have trouble breathing. It wasn't really that bad just kind of annoying. They put me on a couple inhalers and allergy medication and what not ,but none of that seemed to help. Around 13/14 I get bronchitis a couple times and I take antibiotics to clear it up. I was also allergy tested, but they said I didn't have any serious allergies. Then I start getting chronic sinus infections. The doctors would put be on antibiotics(amoxycilin), it would clear up and I'd feel better ,but would go right back to just feeling bad. I've also seen a neurologist who also said everything was fine. Around 15 I'm starting to notice that I'm always tired and I can't keep my train of thought to save my life(or get half decent grades) and I'm always irritable and anxious especially so when I'm hungry. I've also gotten random cases of diarrhea out of the blue after eating perfectly healthy foods. The thing that's killing me right now is the fatigue and foggy thinking. Oh, and headaches. Headaches like nonstop. I feel like this all the time now and I can't function to save my life. So I'm basically always sick. And just to throw it out there when I seem to start feeling worse my acne seems to break out really bad. From what I've researched on the web it seems like I have Candida. My diet before realizing this as a possibly was pretty bad ,mostly junk food. So now I'm trying to take a lot of the junk out of my diet to see it that helps. I'm basing what to eat of the information I attained
here. I'm going to see the Familty Practicer of Friday and explain to him my case.
So really what I need to know is: is it likely I have Candida?
and if so
How should I go about treating it in the long term and the short term?
