Postpartum and Postnatal Forum - Pain after childbirth in vagina

After I have my baby, I've had what feels like a cut in various places of my vagina, its contiously there and any time it is touched it brings a stinging pain to it. This developed right after having the baby and has been there ever since. Does anyone have any ideas on what this could be?

I am sorry you are suffering this. I had the same problem after my first child was born. I went to my OB and she told me to buy this topical ointment. It took care of my probem in a few days. It was 12 years ago, so I can't remember the product. She said it caused by low hormone cuz I was breastfeeding my baby.
