often, i get bumps on the middle joints of my fingers. usually, they form on my thumb, pointer, and middle fingers. the sizes vary from tiny pinheads to large 1 cm in diameter ones. the bumps flare up during the night and last weeks and finally retreat and the area peels off. the bumps are extremely itchy also.

what is this caused by???
