Q: Pcos Medication - infetility treatment too aggressive ?

I am 40 and I have PCOS. I have never had a child. My husband and I are trying to conceive. I am on round 3 of Chlomid (100mgs5days - day 3-7 of period). I am now midcycle and my ovaries have four follicles ranging between 1 cm to 1.5 cm. My RE suggested I take, starting today, another round of chlomid for 5 days in order to encourage the follicles to develop into larger ones and then to trigger them with Ovadrel. Is that normal? I mean is it possible to use this approach of prescribing Chlomid again in the middle of the cycle like that? I am worried the approach is too aggressive. But I am not sure what to do. I know I do not have time to lose.

Can any RE please give me a second opinion?

Thanks
