I have had a lot of problems with eustachian tube dysfunction. It is most likely caused by seasonal allergies and has led to many other problems, such as temporary hearing loss and headaches. I have had dizziness from it as well, but I started taking allergy medication and it went away (nasacort really seems to help). However, I have used nasacort for about a year and a half and now it does not really work anymore and I am having eustachain tube problems again.
