Ugly birthmark on my left side below the ribs ? Posted: 08-28-07 09:03am


Ever since I can remember, I've had this terrible ugly mark on my left side. It's right under my ribs, and it's a dark brown/blackish color. I'm only 15, and whenever I mention it to my mom she just doesn't care and says I'm imagining things. Is it just a really ugly birthmark or is something wrong? It doesn't hurt when I touch it or anything, it's just there. Thanks! Below is a picture, not very good though since it's actually darker.

Birth marks can be very large, so that my be what this is if you've had it since you were a little girl.
